Raw materials (receipt) 

• Scan the EAN bar codes of the incoming products : SSCC on pallets and GTIN/batch numbers on crates/boxes.
• Check quantities and compare with the electronic despatch advice or, in case of fail, with the delivery slip.
• Check the quality of the incoming goods. Isolate products that do not meet the required quality and undertake the required actions for product recall. Transmit this information to the people whose task is to contact the relevant supplier/transport operator.
• Receive electronic despatch advices.
• Electronic despatch advices or orders / shipment matching.
• Input traceability information.
• Raw materials list.
• Print internal SSCC.

Receipt and Shipping, or Distribution of Goods 

• In case of a box, crate, ... : GTIN + batch number in a UCC/EAN-128 bar code
• In case of a pallet: EAN·UCC Logistics Label (product section) with UCC/EAN-128 bar code
• Stack the units according to the FIFO system
• Verify the quality of the stored units
